RICHARD HEEKS born in 1976 in Huddersfield is a British freelance photographer who is mostly known for his work focusing around 'bubbles' The keen photographer uses a £500 Nikon D7000 digital camera and uses no other equipment but light and dark areas to create strong reflections - using sun light or bright lights from buildings. His work has influenced me to carry out my own project around bubbles because his work is unique and hard to replicate so i wanted to challenge myself and compare my work to his. To improve my work i could use a bubble gun instead of bubbles because they are bigger and last longer.
I have taken inspiration from Richard Heeks work because i am amazed at the way he has used simple tools like bubbles and has captured precious images of them in various different ways he has reflected landscapes in his work and he has put his own stamp on his work and made all his set of images unique . I also admire the way he has set about his project because he has used no fancy tools and he has combined his knowledge of bubbles and landscapes to create admirable pieces of photography.
